Oh, I should be so lucky to meet the pontif...
As far as being a KofC member, well I was only pointing that out because although I've been a Catholic all my life I've never heard of who they are, what they do, who they support, or any of that... whereas the "secret" society of Freemasonry is fairly easy to learn about... It's funny actually, because while I knew a few KofC members I was never told what it was about. Just trying to point out that Freemasonry is about as secretive as the KofC... But then that's all a different thread.
As far as being #1 rated, was that in reference to Astrologers or to all market timers? And is that simply one man's opinion of results gained for him/his company or is it factual? These are questions that must be answered to see the truth of it all. And why is only one Astrologer the best? Surely if it were an exact science you all would be able to draw the same conclusions. But that doesn't happen, thus we have the "Best" being the best because they are correct more than the worst... again, not because they are more correct, but because they are correct more.
As for my stand on astrology: I do actually stand opposed to its use. I do drop it in the cold reading, historical cycles (not stellar, as most propose it to be), palmistry (which is actually a fairly straightforward "science" mixed with BS), and other repeated old-world sciences. I do not group it in with tarrot reading (which is 99% BS), entrail reading, tea reading, or any other reading. All of these are a poor person's method of making money. And quite honestly if they would read a bit more they would probably get LUCKY and make more using astrology (palmistry being limited to what you can read in the lines, otherwise is BS).
I have a question for all you short timers (hey the world is gonna start to end in two days for ya'all) : What do you plan to do about it? Keep charting and charting and just watch it come? Or are you going to claim a victory if nothing happens, because it was averted because someone (probably totally unrelated) did something which changed the course of history. |
