The suggestion by the Imf, or any of the cb's involved in this manipulation of the pog, that the fall in price has come as a shock to them, is unbelievable. How about they allow the pog to play its' traditional role and trade on fundamentals rather than wholesale transparent manipulation. That way the pog might actually rise, poor countries could hire rather than lay off miners, taxes could be collected, companies could maybe make a profit and debt could be paid off the old fashioned way. I know, I know, silly of me : - )
