Hi Bob, I don't know the answers to your questions with "certainty" and because of the large insurance claim and potential liability issues involved, I prefer to not spread "unsubstantiated street talk" on this matter. In Alberta, a blowout would be the subject of a very comprehensive review by the appropriate regulatory bodies. I'm sure that the same is also true in California but I'm not sure if any findings have been made public yet. Sorry. Have a great day. Later, grayhairs P.S.-- "The Street" says this morning that spudding of ELH #2 is imminent. This is just another demonstration of the fact that the JV already knows they've got a giant tiger by the tail. After all, they are spudding an $8-10MM (US) well without even having the logs off on their first well !! I just love it !!
