Have you been following this guy's writings? I got the distinct impression throughout chapter 2 that he's actually looking forward to a fairly severe collapse so as to provide an opportunity to reinvent society. I can understand his finding a silver lining if worse comes to worse, but he seems to be relishing the prospect. Am I reading too much into this?
