On your recommendation I sank a big $3.50 plus tax into a Barron's, and among other things I noticed a comment on short interest being down on the Internet stocks, and how this would remove further support for them. (My copy is at home and not where I am now so I can't reference person or page).

I have thought for some time that Barron's (especially Abelson) might be providing the same service that the NY Times did in the 1920s, when it steadfastly predicted a crash and then seemed almost ashamed when it was finally correct.

As far as I am concerned, if short-term traders start going postal over what has happened so far, we had better order some kevlar vests if we plan to show up in person in the brokerage offices if what happens is what I think is going to happen.
