Netwit, we don't disagree.

But the closed fund analogy for non-publicly traded holdings of CMGI would be an open door for lawsuits. Just can't imagine any valuation expert willing to sign off using a valuation of "comparables" even if they are discounted for not having any marketability (not yet publicly traded).

Hence, the challenge all analysts face with this stock.

Irrespective of the difficulty here, I'm just not losing sleep over this stock and its business model. Whether the IPO market is favorable or not this next year still doesn't change the long-term impact of CMGI's business model. If it did, why are there so many "next" CMGI's?

BTW, sure appreciate your intellectual analysis here. Sure is stimulating for all of us.
