ahhaha, Sorry I misinterpretted you about the long term down trend. In fact you were implying a medium term sideways. I agree this is a possibility. The long term is definitely up, and up. The last 100 years' stock market is a living proof of the long term up trend. However, we just have to hold longer than 10 years to reap the benefit. Get rich quick is not something you can expect rationally, although sometimes people get lucky. Thanks for the replies.
