- CVC does not have a website, which as a contrarian thinker, is a good sign because it means that the promotion has yet to begin. If they were promoting, and the stock was still stuck at 6c, then I would start to worry.
- James Stephenson sure did a lot of insider trading (441 transactions!) but he is no longer around.
- Like many other stocks, CVC is bought and sold by the same people, because they develop a comfort level and a feel for how it will perform.
- Here are the spring breakouts for the last 5 years:

March 26,1992 7c to 92c (June 26)
March 29,1993 21c to 52c (June 10)
March 28,1994 32c to 65c (May 25)
March 29,1995 4c to 18c (June 15)
March 29,1996 5c to 13c (June 13)

- As for my opinion on the Bre-X fiasco, I agree with the columnist who said that it produced the same sense of shock and disbelief as Ben Johnson losing his gold medal. It also reinforces my belief to invest only in companies that have a solid upside and minimal downside. CVC fits this criteria very well.
