I wasn't saying it has to "do that" for you, or for anyone else, X. I was only trying to explain why capital-T tragedy can have an uplifting, rather than a depressing effect, on some other people (myself included). But obviously I did not do a good job of it. :-(

BTW, I have not seen any of the films you all were discussing. So I wasn't "taking sides."
