The benefits of reading Cramer(for the newbie trader) is not for what he says but how he says it. Cramer is a good example of a discretionary trader. And from his example you can learn that as a short term trader it critical to ALWAYS be thinking, observing, and coming to some conclusions about the market whether you are in a position or not.

For actual market calls he kinda sucks;)
