Mt. Tom Minerals Corp. has confirmed that all matters proposed by management
at the 1999 annual general meeting of the company were approved by the
shareholders, including the acquisition of Global Netertainment Corp. The
company has proceeded with the filing of all requisite documentation for approval
to the name change of the company to Global Net Entertainment Corp., and
management is awaiting approvals. At the annual general meeting, Sheldon Kales,
Julius Csurgo, Maurizio Sprovieri, and T. H. (Harry) Hatch, were appointed
directors. Subsequently, Mr. Hatch tendered his resignation and is no longer a
director.
The company is proceeding with the preparation of all requisite documentation for
its submission to the exchange on the change of business transaction. The valuation
is expected to be completed next week. Financial statements are still in the
process of being prepared.
Further to an earlier release, Global Netertainment Corp. is negotiating a formal
agreement with Tri-Vu Interactive, which is expected to be finalized within the
next week. A company Web site is also expected to be launched next week.
