Let me say that I've worn glasses for years, and I'm used to them. There is zero chance that anyone is doing surgery on my eyes. To me the potential benefit is very small, and is certainly outweighed by the risks. That doesn't mean that I don't realize that others have different opinions, but maybe it makes it hard for me to appreciate the size of the market.
