I see I opened a can of worms here... but
frankly, I still don't see a striking
correlation between Brown-Simpson and the
demise of these companies. The oil company
you mentioned was missing earnings forecasts
by a wide margin over the same period. This
could easily of accounted for the prolonged
drop. As we all know, many microcaps in the healthcare
sector faded away over the same 1 1/2 to 2 year
time frame. I can show you a dozen charts that
look like these where Brown-Simpson or any other
firm was no where to be found.

I'm not defending these guys, I have no idea who
they are or what their motives are. This whole
convertable issue seems fishy to me, I don't like
any of it. My hope is to find out just how toxic
the convertable is and whether a massive conversion/
redemption could occur in response to positive
news or a potential takeover.

Thanks again for all the info and the mature
responses. I would probably be lynched on the
Yahoo thread.
