Frankly I am a little surprised that you are asking me this question, considering how often we have talked about this.

AMD needs the high performance to get into the business market. Business marker will pay a very high premium for a bit extra. Consumers on the other hand mostly care about value and MHz. If people choose PIII over Celeron, they will choose K7 over them all.
