<< So are you saying that SI members are a bunch of cheaters? >>

I OBJECT! This question is totally unfair to the gentleman from Texas.

First, of all the possible tenses, you used the Present Continuing, which unless Mr Lawrence contemporaneously mumbled 'bunch of cheaters' at the same time he read this question, he would not of been able to say Aye. A fair question should be: were you been saying, or did you do say, or would you have said, for example.

Second, is the question reflexive? If not, why not? In other words, is the question also valid when expressed thusly: Are you saying a bunch of cheaters are SI members. So?

Independent Counsel Starr asked a wrong question and let Slick Willie off the hook when he said: Did you use your hands to fondle Lewinsky's breasts? Because of the missing 'vise-vursa', Slick could wag his fingers: NO-O-O-O! Au contraire, that woman used her breasts to fondle my hands.

Don't let history repeat itself by a poorly phrased question!
