Does anyone know for sure that Mutual Funds are marginable at DLJ direct? I am considering transfering my mutual funds there without causing a taxable events. I received conflicting infos though:

The Select Client features list having Mutual Funds marginable as one of the features of Select Client Privileges, whereas a customer representative assures me that my funds are marginable upon receipt at DLJ, provided of course, that I hold the funds for more than 30 days prior to the transfer. If the funds are not marginable, I may have to liquidate the funds and incur the IRS wrath.

Currently this is the only thing holding my application.

I appreciate any answers from DLJ account holders,

Thanks In Advance
