After contacting WRS regarding Tornado for MS about two weeks ago, I finally got a reply (If someone can post this on SI, it would be appreciated):

Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I was the week before last and part of last week on vacation.

Tornado for Managed Switches (TMS) is a family of products which encompass technology for Basic Layer 2, Extended Layer 2, and Basic Layer 3 switching. These different packages allow TMS to be utilized for customers building desktop and wiring
closet switches, layer 3 switches, and enterprise-level routers. The first of these solution packages shipped to customers as scheduled on June 30th. The remaining packages are due for release in late August and will fulfill demand for an extended set of customers. We had originally scheduled this second release date for July 30th and incurred this very short release delay due to the normal complexities inherent in leading-edge product development. Interest from customers and partners continues to
grow daily for TMS, and we have received extremely positive feedback from the first release.
