I think that Germany is also relying on the full panoply of so-called non-tariff barriers to protect her domestic productions. Take, for instance, the slantwise ruling Germany has waved for so long to prevent foreign beers from entering the German market --ever heard of Reinheitsgebot, Germany's Purity Law? Here you are:
