patent question:

very sorry if you've already analyzed this, but i saw recently that biogen's european patent on IFN-b DNA fragments for expressing ifn-b got revoked on appeal (in may '99). Schering was behind this action.

Do you think this has any relevance for bgen? i really dont follow it enough, but I was under the impression that this patent was the main remaining native ifn-b patent in europe?
