Not quite everything. Many European Governments look ready to liquidise their gold holdings. Now they have the Euro, why should they back their currencies with gold? I'm not sure of the exact reasoning for the selling, but a lot of our politicians are spending an awful lot of time justifying the sale of gold reserves so I guess it will happen.
