You are psychic, Ms.! And you may have called it perfectly (Hawaiian Time), which is interesting, considering something that happened on Flamfoozy some time back.

Before I tell you about it, I must say that my goofy cousin almost screwed up in a Major way about 2 hours ago. He was playing Smack The Poot Skull with Sid, and the Poot Skull landed right next to the GPAMS (Geosync Placement Adjustment Motor Switch) and he bumped it and moved the dang spacecraft into an orbit that is in front of a star visible from Earth. In other words, for about 6 minutes, the spacecraft was visible if you were looking at that one star, because the star kinda blinked off.

FORTUNATELY everybody was watching the eclipse, which is a different direction.

Which brings me to my story. Many years ago, a baby was born on Flamfoozy on the exact same day as the last Total Solar Eclipse of the century. Now, our centuries are a little different, but that's not the point.

This little reptile went on to become the best fighter pilot on the planet, and after that, he became the President of the Federation. He actually was responsible for the elimination of Bad Fried Food on 14 planets, among other things. His name in English would be 'Not Ed'.

He was a great musician, and he really liked computers. He was always respectful to his parents and only screwed up and made them mad 4 times. There is a planetary holiday named after him, called 'Jeepers, it's Not Ed Day, Let's Have Some Meat Right Now'.

So, this may be ominous. I don't know how many fictional science fiction characters have children on the same day as the last total eclipse in a century, but I'm guessing it's a small number.
