That link contained the most chilling portent yet witnessed on this thread:

"To them, those of us that provide legitimate information on comets are obviously part of some grand conspiracy. If you are one that believes the nonsense that these people promote, that is certainly your right. However, remember their predictions. When they do not come true..." encke.jpl.nasa.gov

And when you consider that there are signs of this augury being fulfilled right here within the next twenty posts on the eve of the last total solar eclipse of the millennium...why it may make you grab a pair of strong binoculars, and spend about twenty minutes finding Comet Lee to see what the fuss is all about.

Of course, based on other predictions skypub.com (perhaps equally tainted by conspiracy and secret agendas etc..), Comet Lee is a rather uninspiring (if impossible to see) sight for the naked eye. Well, if nothing else, the end of the week concludes with the annual bombardment of cometary fragments known as the Perseid meteor shower. Although, the meteor shower will impress far more than an insignificant comet, please do not expect a return to the ice ages any sooner that 2200 AD (give or take 20000 years).

Regards,
Michelino

PS Could you point me to the alchemist thread? With the imminent collapse of markets, I'll like to see any research about paint chips and precious metals.
