the rotation of PIs may be true -- however, i haven't seen any of the biomedical experts on this thread mention this before.

what seems to me to be more likely is that if someone is on a cocktail with a certain PI and it is knocking HIV below detectable but they have nasty side effects attributable to the PI, and they try another PI which also knocks HIV below detectable but has a far less worse side effect profile, then they switch. and they dont rotate to some other PI unless HIV pops up above the threshold.

if you go on the AIDS newsgroups and read the writings of people who actually have AIDS, Crix is not well liked. the side effects that Merck admits too are just the tip of the ice-berg. it's real ugly. go look for yourself.

i would be very very worried about taking a short position in AGPH. a big daily or weekly could have a story very soon about mass defections from Crix to Viracept.
