| M&A WEST, INC. RECEIVES NEGATIVE CLASSIFICATION
Silicon Investor, WA - August 10, 1999 - M&A West, Inc. (OTC BB: MAWI) was informed today today that Kevin Watson had categorized the company as "a bunch of spammers probably up to no good." Mr. Watson has issued a "Run For Your Life" recommendation. His 12 month target is for massive dollar losses for those who read and act on M&A WEST spam. Mr. Watson will avoid investing in any security promoted by these shameless touts.

Mr. Watson commented, "As M&A WEST spams their dubious wares all over Silicon Investor, they are clearly making the transition from a minor nuisance to a candidate for what Mr P%ink would call a "3TF" - Triple Turd with Flies. We foresee the possibility of hundreds, possibly thousands of posts promoting dubious "emerging growth opportunities" that could cost investors millions of dollars by the year 2005. Given the valuations that are accorded some other Internet related firms, this may prove conservative."

Mr. Watson currently owns approximately zero shares of any company connected with M&A WEST.

Among the stocks currently traded in the market that have nothing to do with M&A WEST but look good when included in press releases are Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) and Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO).
