Stan,

Your classification system makes sense. However, I would suggest a slight modification in that we expand the classification to 3 from your 2. Here's why...

Your classification creates a category for those with obvious serious problems (type II) and those with lesser disorders (type I). However, what you describe as a type I seems a bit too serious to me to be considered a minimum-level classification. Anyone who makes posts containing "opinions disguised as facts", as you say, is potentially dangerous, IMHO. Therefore, I suggest that such individuals be considered type II, and those with obvious serious problems be type III. Type I would be those who, as you say are "irritating as all get out".

So here is my proposal for a revised version of your classification system...

type I -- irritating, but harmless

type II -- potentially dangerous to investors/traders

type III -- obviously dangerous to either computers or people

It seems to me if we can agree on some type of classification system as you suggested, it will go a long way in facilitating discussions, and can help clarify just what sort of perpetrator we're dealing with. What do you think?
