This thread is a great idea and bringing out a lot of great comments from some of SI's best posters. I was thinking of starting a thread where people could post their suggestions for stocks that meet certain criteria in these troubled times ahead.

For example stocks which have over $1 million and $0.50 per share of cash on hand, multiple properties in multiple countries, proven mgmt (as defined by persons with past success stories), and past results which indicate strong potential.

Let's debate what other criteria we require i.e. production and/or positive cash flow?

What do you think? We could start another thread but if Ron doesn't mind I think this thread already has mentioned some of the strongest (I almost said safest but as of last week there is no such thing as a safe mining and exploration stock) companies i.e. PFG, BGO,CTQ, YRI...

Each posting to suggest a new stock should summarize all relevant info and prove that it qualifies.

I think this process could help comfort some of us that are in these stocks and help others looking for shelter from the brewing storm.

What do you think?
