Eric, when a new thread starts up, we should ask for information on management, their prior successes, and of course their failures. Of course, we can't regulate this, but if we all ask these questions, I'm pretty sure that we will get the answers. We should also ask about who the companies drill contractors are, and about the assaying techniques and independent checks etc. This information can't be concealed, and if we do our diligence, at least we will minimize our losses. We should also ask which analysts are supporting the stock, and which newsletters. For example, I feel sorry for investors in Oliver Gold, who were quite happily buying the stock at $3 on the day that Bob Bishop suddenly decided it was to drop out of favor. If I know Bishop is pushing a stock, and I am not a subscriber, at least then I will know to avoid it (if I am an investor, and not a speculator). This is not an attack on Mr. Bishop, per se, just an observation based on one example that I witnessed.
