Rajiv and Naz...appreciate the help trying to understand this. My broker is telling me that it's a RegT requirement that IPO's are not marginable for 30 days, and therefore cannot be borrowed. How can you borrow the stock? Thanks again guys. Didn't mean to start an arguement...sounds like at least I am going to learn an valuable lesson here. I would have shorted NTOP on day 1, and would likely short at anything over 20...at least at this point in time. FWIW, covered my AMZN short again for now. I think we may have a small rally in store over the next day or so. sf
