at what point does NEON make money? i think that's the major difference b/w MRVC and NEON. i don't think NEON will be in the black in the forseeable future. there are a ton of companies at high valuations that are getting slaughtered... HLTH, NEON, and anything else ".com". I'm focusing on a few i'd like to own that actually make money. one such company would be VRTY. I still want to see it about 6-10 points lower, but i may start nibbling sooner. sure, i've got my list of CSCO, LU, and all the other biggies, but i don't know if they'll hit my target prices.

right now, i'm just happy i don't have much internet exposure (only a little bit of call action on DRIV, which is out to dec).... i still like the energy stocks, of which SGR is one of my favorites (although my PKD has done well the last 3 or 4 trading sessions). financial stocks are getting cheap and will probably get cheaper...but my favorite dog bank stock is HIB due to its exposure to the oil patch and the fact it's been beaten up on one bad loan (i'll be picking up more if it gets closer to 12).

and on further declines, i'd like to pick up a little more MRVC (only if it gets around 12).

of course, my wish list is much longer....
