No, IMHO, QWST is targeting ISP's, including AOL. The're offering unlimited internet access and limited domestic long distance for $25. This is a big incentive. You are correct in that they do not provide content. If AT&T joins this war, the prices could move lower. I am long AOL, and feel that AOL has a great business model. Do feel they have to leverage their huge assets in ICQ, AIM, AOL TV, streaming and telephony, as well make a deal with cable access providers soon.
Long term, this is the stock to be in. Short term, it's all up to Case and Pittman.
