--Colorado MEDtech, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMED), a Boulder, Colorado-based medical products and services company, announced today that Stephen P. Hall is joining the Company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hall will join the Company on a full-time basis on September 7, 1999.
Mr. Hall has over twenty years of experience in a variety of different industries including the high tech, manufacturing, distribution and leasing. Prior to joining Colorado MEDtech, Mr. Hall served as chief financial officer for privately held operating companies in the software development, wireless communication equipment and food processing machinery industries. As chief financial officer for such companies, Mr. Hall was responsible for the accounting, strategic planning and corporate finance activities. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Hall was vice president - finance and chief financial officer of BioTechnica International, Inc., a publicly traded genetic engineering and agricultural products company, where he participated in the restructuring and ultimate sale of BioTechnica to a multi-national agricultural products company. Prior to BioTechnica International, Mr. Hall spent nine years in the commercial banking industry, and prior to that was a CPA with the accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. Mr. Hall has a Bachelor's degree from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
