Why is it that SGI, a company with an extremely good tech rep, especially in graphics, isn't moving to RMBS in the near term. How about Apple, another company known for graphics performance who has no current plans to incorporate RMBS in its next generation G4 systems. Could it be that for the near to mid-term RMBS doesn't provide a viable performance gain. Could it be that SGI and Apple are more worried about next quarter than next year? They must spend their money verrrrry carefully and are desperate for a home run--right now!
