Agreed! The bio weapons are a real threat!

However, I was not thinking about the possibility of firing these nukes from the subs at shallow depths, but somehow smuggling them into certain cities and detonating them time-bomb style, if not kamikaze-style. Don't you think it might be too late if and when an enemy nuke-carrying sub is finally detected. Maybe suitcase-sized nukes could be assembled from parts brought into the cities separately by dedicated terrorists.

Rightly or wrongly, I don't believe the detection of plutonium could be so sensitive as claimed by the authorities. That could be a (make-you-feel-good-and-do-not-spread-alarm) claim on their part.

P.S. BTW, the Plutonium could be brought in little by little until the the critical mass is obtained for use in assembling the suitcase nuke! Scary, eh?
