This is the first time I have heard about the possibility of a German patent. Well, after reading the section of foreign patents, I now have a headache <g>. After a quick study, it appears to me that there would not be a significant difference in the US procedures. However, if the product is already patented and the design is public in another company it would make the US application confidentiality a moot point. Mark
