Thanks for your comprehensive reply. Surprised you didn't mention Sandisk? Seems like they are always a number one thought for this type of memory? Your list is curiously missing Japanese and Korean names. Looks like this market is more of a European play, as I suppose they've been quicker to adopt this type of product for their cell phone use.
