puzzles. like this one. you are given nine balls. all weigh exactly the same except for one which is slightly lighter. you are given a set of balance scales and told that you must find the ball that is the light one. but you are only allowed to use the scales twice. you must determine the sequence that will permit you to find the lighter ball in only two uses of the scales. there is no trick involved. how do you do it? :) mark
