Why did INTC pop during the day? I was surprised by Intel's price being up for much of today in a down market. AMD was coming off a 20% 2 day gain so it was no surprise to see it give back a little. But despite some negative news regarding price cuts and some product delays, INTC was up for much of the day. What do you think was going on, was it the stock purchase program? Was the expected AMD news even better than what was finally received? (most observers seem to have seen the AMD news as somewhat better than expected) Any guesses as to what could have been going on?
