Tender Offer Is Extended:

biz.yahoo.com

According to the press release, there was only about 43% of all the shares submitted as of 8/10/99. The tendering process started about a month ago, but I only got my voting envelope last week from Schwab, who said that they received the materials late from SFLX when I called and asked about the delay. I ended up tendering my shares electronically, in fear of not getting them to Schwab on time by mail.

I hope the mail delay was the main reason for extending the tender deadline. Anyone thinks of other reasons, please share your thoughts. Thanks.
