Hey Hey.......

The Commission starts a thread! Welcome all.

Solid DD may show this really is not a "roll of the dice"....at all.

Here is a post I made earlier on Yahoo.....The only thing I would add for SI would be the importance of anyone close to Las Vegas doing some serious DD on the outfits worn by the cocktail servers at the Reserve.......they are insipring...IMO.<g>

A few thoughts for anyone out there.....

If you look at the Q2 numbers....you must be upbeat. The turn-a-round is under way. The Reserve could be better....but they are doing construction..(Seringetti Pasta Factory) The Reserve numbers are still going the right direction....this is good.

I visit Cactus Petes often....and have been to the Reserve once....and will be visiting again later this week.

Cacus Petes....and the Reserve have begun installing some new slot machines that are called "Triple Play" machines. The ones I have seen are video poker triple play.....and a slot machine called "Sphinx" (video poker is addicting....while Sphinx is really a fun machine.(Egyptian reel symbols)...great graphics.....(lions and mummys spitting bonus coins)

"Triple play" means that instead of 5 coins to load the machine....15 coins are required. This triples the "coinage"

This is important....as you can triple the coinage of a slot position simply by switching out the machine. Casinos make most of their gaming revenue on slot "coinage".....followed by table games.

These "triple play" machines are always packed. I point this out, not just for the possible effect on ASCA...(which I believe will be large)...but rather the entire industry. Look for the entire industry to regain favor. The new machines are just beginning to show up in the numbers.

I don't know from experience what Council Bluffs and Vicksburg are doing as far as new slot product.....but they must be doing something right....their numbers look very good. I would think they are also installing the new generation machines....but don't know for sure.

I think we have an easy double in ASCA stock by Christmas......70+ cents eps for 2000.......and not a lot of risk. ASCA is trading below book....and at a 50+% discount to Station Casinos.....when both are compared.

We may even find out why in the heck Bear Sterns decided to cover this little stock.........I smell underwritting or investment banking business.

Best of luck to all.......I'm headed south to BS with Reserve dealers and cocktail waitresses.....try to get the inside scoop.
