I have two questions. The below questions are paramount to changing the direction in favor of letting ATHM peruse their broadband portal strategy they way they see fit. IMO If they would just show the world what it could be like, the attitude toward ATHM would change. Or at least do some deals. They seem too be busy playing politics instead of pursuing their grand plan.

Why hasn't ATHM started to make their site so compelling that T will let them run the business the way ATHM wants too? What is taking them so long? The site should be building steam, but it is not.

Here is my answer. Subscriber growth will not support the ad revenue or attract the required partners, so they are left with working with in the boundaries of what XCIT has now. They need time sign up then a million or two subscribers. So their pockets are not deep enough to pull it off, so they are going slow. If they have plenty of money and are waiting, they are shooting themselves in the foot, and begging T and the other MSOs to look over their shoulder. I'm getting the feeling they will just throw the BB site out there all at once, live or die,instead of an evolutionary path which would be correct way to do it.

Further more I'm not hearing about how speedy Cable access is from anyone, it's just not in the news. The should have counter on their site which would display the following: as of today, ATHM users base and fellow speed demons have increase by such and such number. Where is the exciteMent Excite/ATHM?
