[Alternatives]

<<<An alternative would be a mailing list. Someone could set one up w/ an ISP. Each participant would require some sort of authorization to post & receive messages. Anyone goes beyond the "3 strikes" limit and they could be removed from the list.>>>

Barry -- this sounds like a private bulletin board which certainly is more appealing than an email list. The problem is it precludes new people dropping by and that's one of the beauties of the open forum. Isn't there a way to implement a "three strikes" rule here? I know it would be an on-going process, but it still might be worth a try.

Above all else, every registered user needs to have a valid name and email address behind his or her tag. I know there are reasons why some don't, but I can't think of any other way to be accountable.

As for "Charts," it's appalling that anyone can post there by typing in whatever name he or she wants. I could go over there right now and post under barry fowler and no one would know the difference.

I will do whatever I can to see that this is changed.

Regards,

Pat
