Smith Barney, which follows the company pretty closely, estimates $2.70 for next year, but this is down from an earlier estimate of $3.50. So, long term, this looks like a keeper. Once it makes the shift from wholesale to retail and sells more of its capacity, the low 20s will be but a wistful memory.

In the short term, however, it may not be time to jump in. There seems to have been some institutional selling lately. In the past, before it picks up, some big money will jump in and support the stock.
