Remember that hype is intentional deception. I am more than a little annoyed that those who want the stock price to go down can hype with immunity, while those who are long and looking for price appreciation over the long haul are touted and ridiculed. Can anyone prove that anyone here stating anything positive is guilty of intentional deception? Who wants the stock to go down? 1) the shorts, 2) short term traders who are out but looking for another bargain and a short ride up, 3) those who hate Amati because of their own mistakes in timing their buys and sells, 4) the competition, 5) those with an axe to grind against Amati or its officers (x-employees, those turned down for employment, those jealous of what Amati has). None of this is addressed directly to you -- if the shoe fits, then you can wear it. I don't like intentional deception on the positive side either.

PS to others: I really blew it on last week's guess (14 1/4)! Someone just wanted to prove me wrong <G>. Amati needs profits to propel it to the sky. Hopefully, Amati will surprise us with an earlier than expected profit in the coming 6 months. Some insider buying would be great about now. We need some very visible evidence of Amati officers' confidence in the company either in words or actions (including buying).
