Even we in this thread said Corel and its shareholders will be happy with a growing, nice chunk of the Office Suite business. Why does Cowpland need to create huge expectations by saying what he said and needlessly focus analysts' attention to the battle with Microsoft, rather than on Corel's growth. Cowpland has done it before with saying $450 mil for 1996, $750 mil for 1997, etc.
He should create momentum by talking about NCs, Java, the value and features of Corel's offerings, etc., but SHUT UP WHEN IT COMES TO CREATING HUGE EXPECTATIONS AND THE BATTLE WITH MICROSOFT.
