BANDS SPEAK OUT ON MP3.COM (CULT. 3:00 am)
wired.com

Format, schmormat. It's all about the music, right? Just how
are unsigned bands faring on the site? Hint: The No. 3 CD
sold 600 copies. By Jennifer Sullivan.

My Comments: It's not about the format wars or the future of on-line distribution, per se, but it's an entertaining read, especially for those who have preached about the ensuing "destruction" of record labels. Besides, why pass up an article that so appropriately has "mp3.com" & "Big Poo Generator" in the same story?
