Janice,

I can certainly sympathize. I sold a block at 10 5/16 on the assumption that yet again, Novell would go down...it did, 10 1/8.

In the interim, better to put some blocks into better performing investments or "gambles"

Publishing: Barnes & Noble......from 26 to 36 in less than 60 days. Novell? Were down at 8 1/5, Schmidt comes on board, and now were treading 10....

Cisco....47...then right up to 53.....Novell?

Microsoft......88, and right back to 94/95

There is a cost holding on to Novell....but I am convinced long term (one year) were looking a very nice appreciation. So over the next year, I see Novell creeping up......don't expect much to happen until next earnings report (short of talk of buy out)...Novell is on hold until May..sorry.

Fundace

PS expect Novell to beat First Call this time....why???? US Dollar is a big play for Novell. With Japan, and Europe big on bottom line, expect foreign currency translations to provide a wind fall here, and for the balance of year.

As for network war with Microsoft...Novell is doing very well, notwithstanding MSFT PR....good news...Network pie is growing, so everyone is growing...sorry MSFT your big, but not always better.
