Donald, thanks for scanning all that data; even without statistical proof i would have intuitively thought that a re-test was the very least we should expect. your data just confirm this. interestingly, the V-shaped bottoms you found where situated at the very beginning of the bull market, and since we're most certainly not at the beginning of a bull market now, the re-test scenario is all the more plausible. one thing seems a pretty safe bet though, and that is that we're going to rally today. the dollar is firmer, european bourses are firmer, the futures are way above fair value and we are deeply oversold - a no-brainer. regards, hb
