By George, I believe you've hit on a critical element of the Gorilla Game that is rarely mentioned - the impact of a spouse! No one can humble a "Lord of the Investing Universe" more quickly than the Lady of the Manor <I'll leave it to Knight Artemis, Rose Campion, or another of our threadmates of the fair sex to portray the distaff side of the equation>.

We may feel empowered by our understanding of the Game and the ability to move tens of thousands of dollars about with the click of a mouse <take that, EMC, I'm moving my money to jdsu>, but since it is not my money but rather our money, there is potential for discord in unilateral moves that in some cases may out weigh the value of a good return.

I've found a few ways to facilitate marital harmony while playing Gorilla Hunter:

1. Have His & Hers portfolios. Share research, and compare results, but make an agreement that each portfolio's manager has autonomous decision making authority. You'll wind up learning from each other's approaches, and each will have more tolerance of the other's mistakes.

2. If your mate thinks Games are for children, re-read the Gorilla Game and highlight the important stuff. Then, if you can persuade her to give it a glance, she will focus in on the interesting parts and be hooked.

A side benefit to including your spouse in the GG - it makes for great pillow talk on days when the Index is up.

Frank
