Another company that I like is Alta Gold (ALTA - NASDAQ). They just announced that they have exceeded 1,000,000 ounces in reserves in three deposits, all in Nevada. They have two new mines (Olinghouse and Griffin) that they plan to bring into production this year, plus two good new prospects (Excalibur and Osceola) in Nevada to drill this summer. Good management, and a substantial track record. Still a small producer (from the Kinsley Mine, Nevada), but with a promising future.
