Well, at least your consistant, you've been wrong all along.

And you haven't. You were rah rah IATV for a long time then the 1Q results came out with the compensation plan and BS selling his shares and cutting the stock price from 20 to 10 and you were the most negative IATV poster around. Even I posted as to your change of heart. Then suddenly everything is ok again, and when I talk about some of the same things that you were ticked about back 2 1/2 months ago, I'm just being negative.

BTW didn't you read my post. Wink is analogue, not in ACTV's league.

I reply to posts in order that they came; hadn't gotten to your post yet. I think that we all know that IATV chose consciously to ignore analog and go pure digital because digitial is the future. Wink obviously chose analog because analog is the present. For how much longer, I don't know. I honestly have never used Wink's technology to see how it compares to IATV's, but I gotta assume IATV's is better even though it's digital. Maybe analog was the way to go. Will the analog solution work on a digital box? Is Wink working on a digitial solution? They may come out with the digital solution later than we did (we've had ours for a while now) but since digital is so slow to roll out that we've held up fox sports for 3 years, maybe they timed it better. If Wink is not actively developing a digital solution and their analog solution won't work on a digital box then they're sunk, I agree completely.

Still, it's disconcerting for Fox to go with Wink. You may be right that Fox went with Wink strictly as a short term thing. However this would only make sense if Wink's API is easy enough to use and IATV's API is easy enough to use that, at the right time, they could switch from Wink to us with minimal effort. I know nothing about the API's, but if they are complex then there will be significant inertia keeping Fox with Wink until the bitter end, as retraining the programmers will be a significant expense. But again, I know nothing about the API's. If Fox were willing to wait for 3 years before we came out with the Sports stuff, why weren't they willing to wait a few months for the rest of their interactive stuff? If the rest of the interactive stuff is more hyper-tv appropriate than interactive tv appropriate, we're ready to go now. Just wish I knew what was behind that decision.
